Quintessential elements were preserved and highlighted during renovating this 1970s BC Box, giving it new life while preserving its footprint, but giving it a modern facelift that will last anouther 50 years!

We turned this into a beautiful modern home, starting with a design-build of an addition of an ensuite that grew into a whole-house renovation.

We took a beaten down small ensuite with a toilet and single sink from the 70’s. We bumped out the bedroom and bathroom 3’ to add a double vanity. We took the old closet and bumped that out and made it into a large walk in shower. But the owners were concerned with lighting in the shower, so we did a white lami glass to let in light to the shower. The closet was moved to another area in the bedroom. We added more lighting in the bedroom and ensuite. The newly heated floor in the ensuite gives them a comfortable ensuite to enjoy in the cold winters. We took the floor in the master bedroom and sanded and stained to bring it back to life! We are proud that the owners find their newly-renovated home comfortable, beautiful and functional.
